Orthopaedic & Spine Injury Expert
Clear orthopedic opinions, from the source.
I'm Eric Harris, MD, a board-certified orthopaedic spine surgeon. I review the records, examine the medicine, and give attorneys a clear, impartial read on orthopedic and spine injuries, in language a jury can follow.

What I do
Three ways I support counsel from first call to testimony.
Record review and expert reports
I read the full record and give you a clear written opinion, whether that's an outline of expected future care or a report answering the specific questions your case depends on.
Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs)
In-person evaluations for plaintiff or defense counsel, available in California, Wyoming, and Washington.
Deposition and testimony
Clear, steady testimony that explains complex spine medicine to a jury without talking down to them.
Why attorneys come back
I built my career on medicine, not the courtroom.
Twenty-seven years practicing, sixteen as a board-certified spine surgeon, and fourteen giving expert testimony. That background means I can trace an injury to its origin and explain what the evidence actually means.
Attorneys tell me the difference is the teaching. I take a complicated spine injury and make it something a jury understands, remembers, and can make an educated ruling on. The opinion is thorough, evidence-based, and the same whichever side of the case retained me.
